Radiative cooling provides passive heat rejection without external energy input and offers a promising approach to sustainable thermal management. This presentation first presents a multifunctional radiative cooling device that combines daytime cooling with complementary energy harvesting. A nanostructured platform is designed to maintain useful functionality under varying weather conditions, providing cooling under clear skies and energy conversion when radiative cooling performance is limited. The effects of structural parameters on optical, thermal, and mechanical performance are discussed. The discussion then extends to system-level applications in energy-intensive facilities. Radiative cooling can be integrated with cooling-water loops and heat exchangers to reduce the heat-rejection burden of conventional cooling equipment. It can also be applied to photovoltaic systems to suppress cell temperature rise and mitigate thermal performance losses. These studies demonstrate how multifunctional device design, system modeling, and practical integration can advance radiative cooling from material-level concepts to scalable thermal-management solutions.
