Fluorescent protein-based biosensors have emerged as powerful tools in both high-throughput drug screening (HTDS) and the field of mechanobiology. By utilizing Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) and Bioluminescence Resonance Energy Transfer (BRET) technologies, we have developed novel biosensors that offer enhanced sensitivity and specificity. These advanced biosensors facilitate the real-time monitoring of cellular processes and molecular interactions, providing critical insights into drug efficacy and cellular mechanics. Our innovative approach leverages the unique properties of fluorescent proteins to create versatile and robust tools that can accelerate drug discovery and deepen our understanding of mechanobiological phenomena.
