Critical Wedging Coefficient in Frictional ElasticSystem Considering Separation State

Professor Yong Hoon Jang was the recipient of the 31st Science and Technology Excellence Paper Award in 2021, awarded by the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies for the paper of 'Critical Wedge Coefficient of Elastic Friction System Considering Separation State' published in Tribology and Lubricants in 2020. This paper contirubutes to the improvement of the fastening and assembly performance of mechanical systems by presenting a new algorithm to determine the critical wedging coefficient for the friction contact problem considering the separation state.
