2024 Korea's Top 10 Mechanical Technologies of the Year

The research team, co-led by Professor Jun Young Yoon and No-Cheol Park from the Department of Mechanical Enginnearing, has collaborated with LIG Nex1 on a research project developing of fast steering mirror (FSM) for precision beam control stabilization of laser communcation, weapons, and electro-optics equipment. The fast steering mirror technology developed through the collaborative research has been selected as the "2024 Korea's Top 10 Mechanical Technologies of the Year". The Korea Federation of Mechanical Engineering Societies has selected and announced the "Top 10 Mechanical Technologies of the Year" to honor and promote researchers by discovering and selecting excellent technologies or products in the machinery field developed in Korea over the past year.
