Development of highly sensitive H2 sensor based on functionalized nanomaterials


Through collaborated work between Professor Jongbaeg Kim's lab in mechanical engineering and Seoul university of science and technology, highly sensitive hydrogen sensor was developed and was published in 'Applied Surface Science' journal which is ranked on top in material science, coating & film category. A new clean energy source candidate Hydrogen requires development of highly sensitivce hydrogen sensor that is capable of low concentration sensing in order to prevent leak induced explosion. Developed sensor exhibits higher sensitivity through even atomic layer deposition of Pt nanoparticles on functionalized MoS2.
