With the rapid advancement of medical technology, engineering plays a crucial role in driving innovation in the healthcare field. This presentation explores the need for the integration of medicine and engineering.
First, we will examine the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine. AI is demonstrating its innovative potential by significantly enhancing diagnostic accuracy and enabling personalized treatment. Additionally, we will explore medical applications of virtual reality (VR)/Augmented realty (AR), which are being utilized in various fields such as surgical training, telemedicine, and nurse education.
Furthermore, we will discuss the implementation of advanced medical equipment that enhances the precision of cancer treatment through patient-specific radiation therapy. Finally, we will highlight the role of engineering in digital healthcare, focusing on innovations such as big data-driven healthcare platforms. these technologies are reshaping the healthcare paradigm, making medical sevices more efficient, accessible, and patient-centered. This presentation explores the essential role of engineering in the future of medicine and possibility of convergence between medicine and engineering.
